Number of Units in each prayer
In Islam, Salah (prayer) is the second pillar of faith and a fundamental act of worship performed by Muslims. Salah is observed five times a day at prescribed times, and each prayer is made up of units called Rak’aats. A Rak’aat consists of a series of movements and recitations including standing, bowing, prostrating, and sitting. The five daily prayers are Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha, and each has a specific number of Rak’aats.
